Combines: 18% Leveling Conversion

The 18% conversion is designed around the following criteria:

1. Same height as a level-land combine
2. Same balance and turning radius of a level-land combine
3. Use John Deere service parts in many applications
4. Engineer the hydraulic system and structural steel at 2x loaded capacity
5. Provide electronic leveling controls with on-board diagnostics
6. Fit all models of John Deere STS combine

 

It is hard to believe self-leveling combines can be this low to the ground. The machines in the pictures show how the machine has the lowest center of gravity in the industry. Hauling, storage and service are the same as the standard level-land machine. Model flexibility allows you to choose the size STS combine fits your operation.

This unique, patented design allows the leveling system to operate with the minimum amount of change to the machine. A new front axle taks the place of the John Deere cast axle spacers. Final drives and transmission bolt back into their original positions. Serviceability and installation ease is a part of this unique design!

 

The flexibility you asked for!
This kits provides the model flexibility and the option flexibility you asked for! Dual wheels available from 18.4-R38 to 20.8-R42. Not only that, but they have the same row spacing capability as as the current level-land combines (120"-180"). Large singles will also work for those customers that have 6 row equipment.

 

Strength and Stability
Strenth of the leveling axle is as it should be... ROBUST! Large 5" bore cylinders keep the load near the wheels (where the load actually is). Less than 1500 P.S.I. levels the combine. The leveling axle strength has the long-term safety the Sidehill owners need. This compact design fits the machine without compromising serviceablity.
